AT & T (TN), this wireless carrier said it has received more than 200 thousand orders for the newest product of Apple Inc, iPhone 4S in the first 12 hours.
According to AT & T, they saw the overwhelming demand for this gadget, the day before the death of the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs.
4S iPhone was launched on Tuesday (4 / 10), after more than 15 months of iPhone fans wait for a revoulusioner design on the latest Apple products.
As quoted by Reuters on Sunday (10/09/2011), Wall Street analysts are betting that the update enhancements in hardware and software of interest will attract buyers.
Compared with the previous generation iPhone sales, iPhone sales this latest decline. Previous generation, the iPhone 4 is the fastest selling mobile phone in Apple's history, at 1.7 million sales in three days.
iPhone 4S will be available in stores on 14 October, some analysts expect Apple will sell about 27 million - 28 million units in the quarter October to December. IPhone sales 4S is a critical time for Apple, considering that Jobs, the Apple icon died a day after the launch of the iPhone 4S.
The Apple itself had no immediate comment on the marketability of their latest iPhone products.
